Nature Notes Friday
On the left looking through trees in my living room. Above looking through trees in my front yard. The painting was a gift from my sister on my 40th birthday. She is the artist.

That is a lovely painting, you sister is very talented. My mother paints and my sister is creative, but I think it missed me on most accounts..LOL...Oh..you asked how I got the wood duck photo. We lived on a shared pond and the ducks come up and look under the bird feeders. This little guy was not as afraid of me as most of the wood ducks are which makes me think he was raised on this pond...I love them...Michelle
What a talented sister you have, the painting is very nice. A painting done of your home is always special. I read some of your archived posts and enjoyed them. Especially the one about cleaning out the clutter. Over the years it gets overwhelming, doesn't it? Every time we buy something we need to get rid of something. That would keep us in balance;) Marnie
What a lovely painting - and all the more wonderful because it was made for you. The branches give me the feel of hands reaching out in a circle. Lovely.
I found you through Vicki/Havenwood...I read your profile....I wish you much success on your new journey! I admire your positive outlook. I had to comment here...please tell your sister that I love her painting! I dabble in painting...that must've been among your favorite gifts...lots of love and time involved!
